Yoga for healing and self-care
With my Yoga Therapy sessions, I offer you healing modalities to apply yoga as self-care. Not only on the yoga mat, but especially in daily life.
Yoga (as) Therapy can be very beneficial when:
dealing with physical limitations, injuries or ailments
suffering from (chronic) pain
vague (undiagnosed) physical symptoms trouble you
recovering after operation or illness
on an emotional level space and softening is needed (e.g. in the mourning process, with stress symptoms and burnout)
Depending on your needs and wishes, your personal yoga therapy sessions can be composed of gentle Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama (breathing), meditation, or a combination of these practices.
I am trained to offer Yoga Therapy in the tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya. I have studied with A.G. Mohan, Indra Mohan, Dr. Ganesh Mohan and Dr. Günter Niessen from Svastha Yoga & Aryurveda.
